A man in his 60s has had surgery to repair a blood clot in his brain after doctors discovered a stroke was to blame.
Renee Zellere, 58, had surgery on Friday to repair the clot in her brain and was expected to return to work next week, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The hospital had no immediate comment.
The man, who has not been identified, had the clot removed in November at St. Mary’s Hospital in Baltimore.
The stroke occurred on Oct. 30, 2015.
He had a stroke that left him in a coma for several months, according to a hospital spokesperson.
