By Jessica McEvoy Houston, TX–December 05, 2016–It was the best surgery I’ve ever had.
It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth every penny.
The doctor who performed my surgery told me he would have had to put a third of my weight back on and I would have lost the same amount of skin on my face as before.
But, the plastic surgeon’s opinion was different.
I was ready to lose the same skin color, and he had the idea of doing a prosthetic nose.
He was so thrilled that I was finally able to make my dreams come true.
I had a lot of fun.
I didn’t have to feel sad anymore.
I was able to wear the prosthetic, and my friends and family had no idea that I had undergone surgery.
I didn’t cry, but my heart ached.
I also couldn’t stop thinking about how much money it would have cost to have a prosthesis.
The surgery was so easy that I started thinking of ways to save money, and I was determined to make it work.
So I took a look at what others had done and learned how much it would cost to do a full facial reconstruction, too.
I decided that I needed a prosthetist who could make it all look like my own face.
I researched the cost and looked at what I could afford.
When I had the surgery, I had to have my nose surgically fixed.
The cost was more than $1,200, but I decided to give it a try because I thought it would be a fun project and a way to learn about the procedure.
I spent a lot on supplies and equipment and had to buy several things for the surgery.
I spent my first three days in the hospital in a wheelchair, but eventually I was able take my first step toward walking again.
I’m not sure how I will make it to the end of my journey.
But I know that I have found a way out of the surgery and the prosthesis that made my dreams a reality.
I would like to thank my surgeon, Dr. Scott Linsley, for helping me through the difficult experience and the amazing support I have had throughout my recovery.
I look forward to getting back to work and enjoying my new life.
I hope you can find a prosthetics surgeon who will be willing to treat you the same way you feel about yourself and the people you love.
